Hello Little Printer, apparently available for pre-order in 2012, is the cutest darn gizmo I ever did see. Where do I sign up? I don’t doubt that it’s completely unnecessary to have as a part of your daily routine- a luxury gadget - but I’d also argue that it’s taking a step backward in order to move forward (as far as being an instrument in the endless progression society is taking with technology). I’ve vowed to never use a Kindle, because real books are just real, man, and in the same vein, I’m starting to think that I should cease the consumption of Facebook, news, sports and weather updates, puzzles, etc. on my smartphone. Hellooooo Little Printer! This would be great to have automatically printed each morning before headed out for a commute, or better yet, a ski. A good chairlift read indeed.

Ideas for BERG Cloud:

  • Perforated lines for easy folding. People who desire a lot of content are left with an embarrassing streamer to carry around, like those 10 foot long bullshit coupon receipts you get even if you only buy a pack of gum.
  • A back and forth photo game where you receive a challenge from a friend in the morning in your paper. That day, you must snap a picture of the proposed subject, and send it in before midnight. Your photo prints in your friends paper the next morning, and so on, and vice versa. Example: “A photo of something blue”
  • Colored paper!
  • A photo you receive each day and at the end of the month you can staple them all together to make a flip book.
  • Connect-the-dots.
